At our holiday cottage in North Wales we try to ensure everyday essentials are provided and things like decent knives, good cookware etc are supplied as these make the holiday a lot more enjoyable and hassle free. If there are things that you will only use a small number of (i.e. dishwasher tablets) it is more cost effective to just pack a few in a bag and take them with you rather than buy a big box when you arrive. Another top tip to make your holiday easier is to get a supermarket food delivery made to the property. Even the most out of the way places have home delivery now.
Packing for a holiday in Wales means a couple of extra considerations when it comes to clothes. Given the diversity of Wales you could end up on a beach one day, walking up a mountain the next, pottering around a small village then doing active sports.
