Old pictures of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog

I was digging around on google to find some old pictures of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog and found some dating from the early 1900’s. I just thought they were so cool I wanted to share them. In the first one you can see how the village looked when you look down the valley towards the centre of the village in the distance. This is the view from the hill behind our holiday cottage. You can just see the roof of the cottage in the foreground. The barns to the left are now cottages.

Here is my picture taken from the same spot. I think the original photograph is much better. Not much has changed really.

Our local inn the Hand. It has not changed that much.
