Eat and drink - pubs and restaurants around Llanarmon
There are some great places to eat and drink in North Wales. Within a two minute walk of the holiday cottage are two fantastic old inns serving great food and beer. Within a short drive, there are lots of nice inns, pubs and restaurants. If you want to go a little further, Llangollen and Oswestry are within a 25-minute drive and offer a range of pubs, restaurants and cafes. We don’t think there is anything better than a good walk then popping into the Hand or the West Arms for a pint and a bite to eat. So if you are looking for a holiday cottage near to a pub – Glan y Wern is hard to beat.
The Hand at Llanarmon
The Hand is an award winning inn. Good food, real ale, log fire – perfect. If the sun is shining sit outside and watch the world go by. Or retire to the comfortable bar with a welcoming log fire. Recently voted one of the 30 cosiest pubs in Britain by the Telegraph. A cracking country inn. Two minutes walk from our holiday cottage.

West Arms - Llanarmon
The West Arms dates from 1670. Good food, real ale and a fantastic real fire. Right opposite the Hand so you can try both inns. Has a lovely beer garden overlooking the fields and the river. It doesn’t get much better than this. Two minutes walk from our holiday cottage.
